a line allows progress, a circle does not

littleladykins asked: You probably won't get these but you're on my mind a lot today....

did you ever get my responses to these?

littleladykins asked: Do you remember when we first met and we started texting you said "Can we talk for a really long time?" And I thought you meant that day but you said "No, for a few years" Did you ever expect to fall in love with me? ... I was so young. I wish our lives were different. But I will always look up to you, you helped shape me into who I am today whether you realize it or not

Of course I remember that. I remember everything. How do you wish our lives were different?

littleladykins asked: I'm rereading all of your posts and some of them make me sad.... What happened to us?

I don’t really know exactly what happened to us. I fell in love with you and I suppose I let it get the best of me.

Genuine love is rarely an emotional space where needs are instantly gratified. To know love we have to invest time and commitment… dreaming that love will save us, solve all our problems or provide a steady state of bliss or security only keeps us stuck in wishful fantasy, undermining the real power of love — which is to transform us.

this is something i need to remind myself alot. i am so impatient, sometimes it really fucks things up for me.

there are so many things that i wish to happen and things that i feel helpless against. i am quite unsatisfied with my life right now, im in a sort of rut that seems to get deeper and deeper. i want progress, and i want to attain my goals. it seems even the simplest ones, like getting a job, turns out to be one the of the biggest obstacles in my way. its a strange place that i find myself in. its times like these that i tend to move out of town in search for something that isnt here, or thats hiding at least. the baby steps are turning into size 13, and right now im only an eight and a half.

Our past isn’t what truly matters, it’s where we are at because of it is what we should always remember.
